Men & Mental Health

A conversation can be a place to begin

A calm, supportive and non-judgemental space for men’s wellbeing, human connection and being heard.
You do not have to carry everything alone.
If you are worried about your mental health or concerned that you may be developing a mental health problem, talking to someone can be an important first step. Speaking with your GP can help you understand what support may be available and whether you need further help.

Support built on listening

Talking about how you feel can be difficult, particularly when you are used to dealing with things on your own.
365 Group Care is establishing a network group for men of any age and from any background who may be experiencing difficulties with their mental health and would like to meet others in an informal, supportive environment.
The aim is to provide a place where men can:
There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. Sometimes, simply having a conversation and knowing that someone is listening can be a meaningful first step.

A safe and confidential space

We understand that speaking about personal feelings or difficult experiences can feel daunting.
The group is intended to be a confidential, supportive space where you can talk openly without judgement and without feeling afraid of your feelings.
We do not share group records with other health authorities.
The group is a self-help and peer-support environment rather than a replacement for professional medical or mental health care. Where appropriate, and if you request it, we can help put you in contact with the right services for additional support.

What can you do if you are worried about your mental health?

If you are concerned about your mental health, consider speaking to your GP. It can feel difficult to take that first step, but getting appropriate help and support can make a meaningful difference.

Start a conversation

Choose someone you trust and share what feels manageable. You don't have to explain everything at once.

Listen without judgement

Being listened to and taken seriously can help someone feel less alone.

Stay connected

Regular human connection and supportive conversations can be valuable during difficult periods.

Ask for further support

If you need more help, speak with your GP or an appropriate mental health service. If you request it, we can also help connect you with relevant services.

Men’s support group

You don't have to face it alone

Sometimes the first step is simply talking.
Our men’s support group is intended to provide an informal place to meet, talk, listen and connect with others in a supportive environment.
